A Path in the Clouds: Walk Before You Look
From Baoguo Temple to the Golden Summit, let the mountain and weather set the scale of the day.

Mount Emei in Sichuan is known for its mountain landscape and Buddhist culture. Baoguo Temple, Qingyin Pavilion, Wannian Temple, Leidongping, Jieyin Hall, and the Golden Summit form familiar stops from low to high elevation; those changes also bring clear differences in temperature, mist, and physical demand.
Reaching the Golden Summit in one day differs greatly from a multi-day hike. For scenery and safety, combine sightseeing buses, walking, and cableways; if you plan to walk uphill, arrange the route in sections according to your energy, weather, and official trail guidance.
