Who Are We
"Mindful Dana" is an independent contemplative life practice platform. We are not a temple, nor do we represent any religion. What we are doing is carefully reviewing these resources, clearly citing their sources, and transforming them into guidelines that people can start practicing tonight.
Our practice stems from the Chinese Zen tradition and tea culture lineage, tracing back to the Tang Dynasty poet-monk Jiaoran's contemplation of tea and Zen, through Zhaozhou's famous "Go drink tea," and culminating in the Zen-tea teachings of Yuanwu Keqin. Every guide we publish clearly indicates its source, and each citation retains its original attribution.
Our team is based at millennia-old historical sites in Jiangxi, Henan, and Chengdu, China, working alongside resident partner organizations. Being close to the places we describe is not a marketing detail for us — it is the only way to distinguish tradition from trend.
Our Zen Tea Journey takes place at renowned thousand-year-old historical sites such as Tiantai Mountain, Donglin Temple, and Qingcheng Mountain, unfolding through a travel itinerary. For specific dates and routes, please refer to the detailed itinerary explanation.
